SOLD OUT

The Munich Ring

July 18 - 28, 2018

Kirill Petrenko conducts this Andreas Kriegenburg Ring, with Jonas Kaufmann and Nina Stemme. With Orlando Paladino, La traviata (Diana Damrau), and Les vêpres siciliennes (Giannattasio, Schrott, Hymel) plus Sonya Yoncheva & Piotr Beczala in recital. Hotel Bayerischer Hof Munich.

It is easy to understand why this is one of our most popular tours—every aspect of it is world-class. Our first Munich tour sold out very quickly, so we have added a second tour that is somewhat more budget-conscious. We will have 2nd category seats for performances that feature some of the finest singers in opera (including the greatest tenor of his generation, Jonas Kaufmann), two superb orchestras, all in stunning venues and all of it in Munich, a city of boundless riches.

We will use the 5-star Bayerischer Hof for this tour as well, as it is perfectly located in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Nationaltheater and the most important historical sites. We have secured standard rooms for singles and superior rooms for doubles.

One of our most experienced Directors will lead the group, and our tours will be led by Munich residents who are expert guides. We will see, amongst other sites, Nymphenburg Palace, the Old Picture Gallery, the Residenz and King Ludwig’s Herrenchiemsee.

Join us for this exceptional program in one of our favourite cities.

We have recently partnered with Longitude, Recommended Reading for Travelers so that we can provide uniquely tailored reading lists for our tours and offer our clients competitive pricing. Please use the following link: Reading List for Munich 2018
